How are all the preggos doing?

I'm 34 weeks today, feeling OK. Sleeping has really gotten rough and i have all these weird aches & pains (like in my joints) & also so tired! Went to the dr. today and had a sono - they were very active, both heads still down, fluid looked good, and they are about 5 lbs each. Baby A's head is really low and he has lots of hair, they were suprised I am not feeling any contractions yet. Cervix is still closed, but starting to soften and the dr. was able to feel Baby A's head today!
Also had my strep B culture today.

Re: How are all the preggos doing?

That's wonderful news!! You must be so excited. Do they think you will go full term?

As for me. Nothing much has changed, but I am only 23 weeks. I have stopped working
for a while, and feel much better just resting.
I am just amazed how much my stomach is growing every week.

Cervix still the same, Baby B is breech now, but I am hoping he or she turns back! Other than that still on bedrest and still feel good.

Im doing ok, sleeping is getting difficult. I have the carpuel tunnel in my right hand and is extremely painful.
I went to the Dr. last week and both boys are still head down and weighing a little over 4 pounds each.....Im 33 weeks.
Dr. says there is a good chance I can have these boys vaginally, and should go in September

Re: How are all the preggos doing?

Got some bad news yesterday. Seems that there is a big weight difference between these two guys of a pound and a half and that is an issue with identical twins since they share the same placenta. For some reason on is getting more nutrition then the other. One is just about 6 pounds and the other about 4lbs 8 ozs.

They started me on steriod injections today and I will be getting a doppler tomorrow. If my doctor sees issues with that they will take the boys right away, if not the doctor said that he wants to try and get them to stay in for another week if he can. I am unsure but might be put in the hospital until then,...so it's looking like they will be here soon. Since i am only 34 weeks, the doctor said that they probably will need NICU time, but that they are good sizes for their ages.

I probably won't be able to get on for awhile...so please keep the boys in your prayers. Thank you all so much for your advice and guidance over the past 8 months. I don't know what i would have done without you gals. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I wish you all the best, I'm sure your boys will be fine, they'll just need a little extra care. I know someone who had this same issue, she was only about 25 weeks. Her boys are thriving wonderfully. I will keep you and your angels in my thoughts and prayers.Chat Icon

Re: How are all the preggos doing?

Sorry I am replying to this post so late. I was waiting for my next OB appt.

Glad to hear most of us are doing well...

The babies have moved and are both face down now. The growth sonogram was great! They are each 3 & 1/2 lbs. at this point. I will be 30 weeks on Tuesday. We finally got to see our son...he has been camera shy for about 25 weeks now! We got a so so shot of him...the tech said it was not easy because he is facing my spine.

Dr thinks I will go full term and he is hoping for a vaginal delivery.

I will keep my fingers crossed for all of us here!
