Looking for babymoon suggestion!!!
So DH and I decided that we'd like to go away for a long weekend between now and the end of Sept for our babymoon.
Since I really don't like flying I'd like to go somewhere that we can drive to. We enjoy eating out and would like to go somewhere with "something" to do.
Any suggestions!!?!?!?!
TIA

I was thinking Boston also, it is my favorite city.
or maybe one of those NE cruises that leave from NY. Maine is beautiful.

Re: Looking for babymoon suggestion!!!
I've heard great things about Newport, RI. I've also always wanted to go to Mystic, CT. Some of those B&B's look so nice.

DH and I went to Montauk for the weekend last wekend. It was just what we needed. The weather was amazing and we sat on the beach, shopped in town, and went out for dinners to really great restaraunts. It was sooooo relaxing. I highly reccomend it.

Re: Looking for babymoon suggestion!!!
DH and I just spent a few days up in New Hampshire and it was wonderful! I'm an Ocean girl and was very reluctant to swim in a lake but it was so refreshing and made my feet look normal again!

Re: Looking for babymoon suggestion!!!
One of my friends told me about this resort, which looks great, but is already booked for when I would want to go on my babymoon (Thanksgiving weekend). Maybe it would work for you. Mohonk ETA: They even have a babymoon package!

Re: Looking for babymoon suggestion!!!
We were going to go somewhere warm, but now we think we might be NYC tourists, get a hotel room, see a show, have a nice dinner, etc. And no driving involved, which is a plus.

We like Boston but I think their is alot of walking so depending how far along you are or if you have swollen feet I would go with Montauk.

Re: Looking for babymoon suggestion!!!
We went to Baltimore when I was about 26 weeks pregnant and it was a great trip. We drove down, stayed at the Marriot right on the water and walked all over town. The aquarium there is beautiful and the food is great as well. There is a lot to see & do there.
