New to the board - Questions regarding the Nassau walking group and pediatricians

Hello! I met Moehick at a friend's house yesterday and she told me all about your message board. I am a FTM to Hannah Grace who was born 5/5/06.

I am very interested in the Nassau walking group and was wondering if anyone could supply me with more information.

I was also wondering if anyone has a pediatrician on this board that they truly LOVE. I am looking for someone who follows the Dr. Sears method. I am into attachment parenting and co-sleeping and would like to find a ped. that supports how I want to parent.

Thanks,
Flo

Welcome. My daughter was born on 5/6/06. I'm looking to get involved with the walkers too, where are you from?

My boys see Dr.Cammilery who is with Nassau Pediatrics on Dogwood Avenue in Franklin Square. He is absoultely the most wonderful doctor you'd ever want to know! I don't know what practices he follows but he is so warm and so not condescending and is open to everything. He practices in a group with 4 other doctors. 2 are OK. 1 is annoying. Last one is old and set in his ways. In emergencies, all are fine. But for appointments, I always request Cammilery. Their # is:
(516) 481-3660.
Good luck!
