?? for those with school aged kids...
DH and I were talking...how many of your DH's do homework, go to parent/teacher conferences, etc with your children?
Just a crazy question

We now have both kids with homework. For the most part it is all me, but hubby likes to help at least once a week.

Re: ?? for those with school aged kids...
I usually help Jordan with his homework just because I am home all day with him...my DH does help him practice his writing etc though from time to time.... we both go to all the meetings and conferences together, the kids stay with my Mom. I think it's important for our kids to see that we both care about everything that goes on with them and their school. And when their are any activities at the school, spaghettie dinners, christmas fairs etc. we all go

I'm usually the one that halps Marissa because DH has no patience w/ it. We both attand meetings w/ the teacher since we try to be very involved w/ her class.

Re: ?? for those with school aged kids...
We both help with homework...I usually take math and spelling and DH does the rest because I have no patience with book reports and such DH is also in charge of projects. As for conferences...we both try to go. Being that this is DH's daughter (I'm the step-mom), he makes sure that the burden of school doesn't fall entirely on my shoulders.
