I don't think so - I spent way more than that on just 3 books.

those are inexpensive, but i'm sure the info will be very repetitive. I found that both the pregnancy books i have each spoke about nutrition a lot and i didn't need seperate nutriton books. jmo.

I'm glad you said that b/c thats what I was wondering about. They are so cheap its tempting to buy all of them but at the same time I dont want to waste my $$$
So you think I should just get a general pregnancy book instead of a separate one- hmmmm thats great advice!
I was just worried b.c I eat like crap!

I actually really like "your pregnancy week by week". It details what you should eat, what you shouldn't eat as well as everything that goes on every week during your pregnancy. Its easy to understand too.

IMO I definitely think it would be silly to buy ALL of them. There's nothing wrong with buying one or two of them...but, for anything I wanted to read up on nutrition wise, I would get the info online or from friends and my doctor's.

I bought this one:
What to Eat When You're Expecting - Arlene Eisenberg $0.58 - Quantity: 1 - Usually ships within 1-2 business days Condition: new Sold by: jessiewhitmire
And it was a waste... way too much detail and very, very unrealistic. And to be honest, though I had every intention of eating as healthy as could be, and I normally do have one of the healthiest diets on the planet, when those pregnancy hormones hit, that was all out the door. Between my morning puke, and my 24 hour "feels like the worst hangover in the world" morning sickness, I simply ate what I could manage that day without turning green

this is exactly the kind of answer I was looking to get- so it will be a waste b/c I have no self control when I am feeling like crap. Ok another good note. It looks like Week by Week is the way to go! Thanks MOMS! :D

If you really want to read them, just borrow them from the library. No need to spend the money.
I spent my money on "your pregnancy week by week", "Think womens Guide to a better birth", "A nursing mother's companion" and "the GF's Guide to Pregnancy". I got the What to Expect when you are expecting book free from my doctor. I guess you can even borrow these from the library also.

Re: Has anyone bought these books??? Is it silly to buy all of them?
I don't think you need to purchase all of them - most of them will have the same or similar information in them anyway.
I bought a bunch of books and to tell you the truth the only books im really enjoying is "What to expect when your expecting" and "What to expect in the first years"
They contain everything about nutrition in them - you will probably find yourself glued to one book throughout the pregnancy just because its an easy read and has lots of information all the other will be dust collectors - at least for me. With the library and internet - you probably won't need to spend your money buying all of them.
