Bath Time
When does bath time become soothing? My DS is 10 weeks old and he loves his bath, but HATES coming out. He cries and screams the entire time getting dressed and is plain exhausted from screaming. I wanted to start the routine of bath time right before bed time soon ( I have generally been doing this since 3 weeks- sometimes his bath is pushed to the morning)

Re: Bath Time
Bath time at night was never soothing for my son.....he too screamed bloody murder when we took him out....I even tried drying him off quickly thinking he was screaming because he was too cold, and tried singing and even baby massage. Finally I gave up bathing him before bed, and started morning baths....when I had to give him a bath in the evening, I did it as early in the evening as possible.

Re: Bath Time
Olivia loves the bath but screams when i dress her i think its becuase when i put hte lotion on its harder to put her clothes on and we seem to be fighting each other to get her arms into the pjs. i bathe her at 9pm becuase this is her fussy time it seems that after shes dressed she is tired and goes to sleep by 11:30 and i can get her to sleep 6-7 hours after that.

Re: Bath Time
Emily screamed for a while. It stopped when I started really entertaining her afterwards -- I made dressing her a game -- singing to her and making her feet dance and stuff like that. Now she is okay unless I'm putting her hands in the armholes of her onesie.
