Sorry this is TMI but...
How come DS's poops are not solid? They were in the beginning when he first started solids. The poop would be more formed and solid. Now it's the mushy messy poop all the time. It's not diarreah...just mushy. Don't know why that is. He's fine though. He's not sick.
Could it be the types of food he's eating???
One of my SIL's said that it's because he's drinking too much formula... My son drinking too much formula, yeah right... I'm lucky he has 20 oz a day. He drinks Four 4 oz bottles plus 4 more oz that go into his cereal throughout the day.

Is he drinking juice? That could be doing it.

Re: Sorry this is TMI but...
The juice/fruit even high fiber veggies/fruits like carrots, peas, pears, squash etc. can make it softer.
We try to get DD's poos soft on purpose, she's up during the night when she constipated and passes hard stools.
I wouldn't worry, it's more of a wipe using problem than anything :)

hmmm interesting because I give him a lot of the Stage 2 dinners that have peas and carrots in them. Maybe I just need to do a little adjusting and try not to give these ingredients so often.
What about peaches? Do they make it softer?

Problem though is that most of these combos include peas and carrots...

Sounds to me like he is healthy at least according to my doctor.

YES! Peaches too.
Matthew is very healthy though! Be thankful he isn't constipated or straining and going comfy!
We try on purpose to keep Gianna's like that, she tends to go to other way and get really hard.

I'm not really worried about because I haven't even mentioned it to the doctor. It was just something I was wondering about. But he does have a lot of peaches. It's one of his favorite fruit.

Re: Sorry this is TMI but...
This has been going on for like almost 2 months. Ironically he's been getting teeth during this time period...
Just now it was very watery and loose. Looked like diarreah and he just cut his 5th tooth.

Do you feed him bananas?
Try adding a little bit of them into his diet
