Gift advice; close friend's bday
Okay, a good friend of mine really wants a Coach bag (a really pretty, large classic signature one) for her bday and her DH is "supposed" to get it. She's dropped a lot of hints!
So, I was in Coach this weekend, because it's also my mom's birthday and I bought her the large wristlet; the sales woman asked me if I needed a "skinny mini" for it. I guess it's a change purse/tiny wristlet for the bags. I said no, and went to Gap to buy my friend a summer sweater that I thought was cute. Of course, when I GOT home, LOL...I was like, I should buy her the skinny mini to go with the bag; it wasn't that much more than the sweater. Only thing is I have no clue if her DH bought the bag....what do you think? Keep the sweater or exchange it for the small wristlet? My DH told me to leave it alone, because if her guy didn't buy the bag, he'll feel guilty when he sees I bought her the tiny coach item.

Can you have both items ready to go and wait until you find out what he got her and then return the item you do not give her? Crazy yes, but this is something I would do
Otherwise, I would play it safe and stick with what you already got.

I wouldn't get it unless you know for sure that DH got her the bag. It may cause trouble otherwise!
