Best place to buy baby furniture

I don't know if it't the "best" but we got ours from JC Penney. They had a good sale at the time (and they are having 15% off baby furniture now).

We haven't assembled the crib yet- that is DH's project for tomorrow- I can give you an update!

If you do go with them, do yourself a favor and pay the extra delivery to your home and not the in store pick up- we had to rent a van to get our stuff home. (In laws were buying and I wanted to save them some money!)

We went to the Babies R' Us in Commack yesterday and one lady in particular was SOOOO HELPFUL!! She was amazing, she was sooo knowledgeable and helpful, even taking us around to strollers, mattresses, etc. and giving her advice. She really seemed to know all about what she was talking about.

We found a beautiful set there and were set to order it, but she said since I already registered at BRU a week or so ago, I should be getting 'registry' coupons very soon, and usually there are some that come out in February that have $25 off EACH furniture piece, plus when you open their credit card, you get 10% off everything you order/buy for 24 hours!! So, we're going to wait for the coupons and hopefully order in about a month!!!

We bought our furniture at BRU. I like our crib and changing table, but I think the armoire is c-r-a-p. It just seems like cheap-y wood any won't last long. I am kinda sorry I picked it....

I bought at BBB in 2003/2004 for my first child and I am using it again for my second child. I used a 20% coupon for each piece I bought and it saved us so much (there were similar cribs and such at Behr's).

We got ours at Behrs. I thought they had the biggest selection of everywhere we went. We saw our furniture first at BBB and then Behrs. The crib and dresser were the same price at both stores.

I went to a ton of places but fell in love with a set from BRU. I think it is all about finding the set you love from a reputable place.

went to BBB, BRU,and Behrs....ended up buying at Bellini....we felt they had the best quality!

I got mine from JC Penny and it was reasonably priced....(my parents paid 1,400 for a crib, changing tower with hutch and 4 drawer dresser, including shipping and tax)

The quality seems good and the wood is beautiful
