i need suggestions for a weekend
get-a-way with my dh for our 1 year anniversary..our parents are watching our dd for the weekend so we want to take advantage..any suggestions on where to go for like 2 days? i was thinking somewhere in connecticut or montauk..but i dont know what to do..thanks

DH and I went to Mystic for a weekend and we had a great time.
We have also done weekend trips to Mohegan Sun. We always have fun there.

I also think Montauk is great, and of course up here in CT too!!!
We have loved Avon, CT and Mystic is great. There are a lot of great restaurants in Mystic too!!

we got married during the school year so our first honeymoon was a two nighter to litchfield county, CT. We stayed at the Boulder's Inn in New Preston, CT. Cozy cottages, fireplace in room, whirlpool tub, view of lake, etc. Perfect for a cold weather getaway - though CT is beautiful in fall. It was a quick drive to the town of Litchfield, where there are loads of antique shops, cute stores, restaurants, etc. And it was only 90 miles away.
