Hair Dye
My Dr. told me it was ok, but I am still nervous! My hair is gross though and I need to dye it so bad! I finally gave in and made an appointment , I'll be 8 weeks at the time.
What have all of you been doing? What did your dr's say?

Re: Hair Dye
Mine said its ok to highlight after the first trimester. Highlighting doesn't touch the scalp.

Re: Hair Dye
Oh no! do you think it is bad at 8 weeks to go? My Dr said it was ok, but just not to use dye with chemicals, to use henna or vegetable. I spoke to my hair dresser and she said what she uses on me is not permanent and has no chemicals.

Re: Hair Dye
I waited until I was 20 , weeks...I didn't do a full dye I did hi-lights that didn't touch the scalp. I just did a full dye a couple of weeks ago...Im due in 3 days so i figured it really wouldn't make a difference

Re: Hair Dye
I'm 28 weeks, and only going for the first time this week, and I'm only getting highlights. Yes my hair has not looked its best, but I got through it. I was also afraid that my hair wouldn't color "right" during the pregnancy, since I was told that the hormones mess with your hair and the way it takes dye. I was afraid it would end up looking worse, so I just put it off. We'll see this week what happens.

Highlighting is fine since like you said, it does not touch the scalp.
