Another personal assistant question
I get paid by the hour, and he gave e certian hours I'm supposed to be available/working, but so far I haven't been given enough stuff to do, so I'm kind of sitting here, checking my email and waiting for more info. Do I get paid for this time? Yes, right?
ETA: Also, did you keep a calendar/datebook specificlaly for the thing you set up for that person..
ad if he has an appointment, like at the accountant and he's like "you can come if you want to learn about it" I get paid?

Yes on all parts.
Do you use outlook for calendaring? Do you have that on your PC? You could use a date book too if he doesn't move too many appts around. Does he use a date book or something?

Re: Another personal assistant question
I' working from home.
I started a calendar on google. I have no idea what he uses. I'm not like this full on full tie personal assistant. He just kind of gives me his overflow and adinistrative tasks for his theatre and film companies, but a big part of it is setting up appointments.

hmmm..you should ask him what he uses before you start a new calendar system....might save you time.

Re: Another personal assistant question
I'm so bored. He gave me a whole list of things to do, but they're all like Call this person (with no indication of why) or
Call this person, I'll give you mroe details later
or
Send out this and that after I send it to you
So I have to wait for answers from him and I am like B-O-R-E-D

ugh - i know the feeling....perhaps you can give him a call and list the things you need answers to? just trying being as proactive as possible and maybe he will get the hint that you're just trying to help him!

I'm trying to find a balance. I sent him several emails. Like every time he emails me I remind him of what I still need. I feel like, he's busy, I don't want to bother him at work.
I just emailed him and asked him about the calendar, and I asked if he prefers I keep it to email or if I should call, and I asked him if he prefers I keep asking him about things to remind him or if I should assume he'll get around to it. I a trying to be as straightforward as possible.
