Would you be hurt/insulted?
i'm almost 12 weeks, DH and I haven't really told anyone. The one person i did tell is one of my closest friends. I told her 7 weeks ago. I know she is very busy with her daughters 1st birthday party and a wedding that she is the MOH for, but she hasn't called me at all! the 2 times i called her she said she was really busy and would call me back that night or in a half hour.
i can't help but feel a little hurt. she knew we weren't planning on telling anyone and that she was the only one who knew. i kind of feel like i "wasted" telling her and should have told another friend who I know would be freaking out and excited.

Aw that's too bad. Of course when you have good news and you share it expecting the same level of excitement from a friend that doesn't show the same level you're disappointed! Maybe it didn't occur to her that she is the only one who knows and should be more supportive of you. Either way I'd be hurt too.

Re: Would you be hurt/insulted?
Honestly, I don't think I would. I would be a little peeved if I tried calling her twice and never got a call back but I'd forgive her if it happened to slip her mind amidst all the other things going on in her life right now.
I would, however, be hurt if they didn't at least ask how my pregnancy is going when we did get in touch. And I'm sure they would be hurt if I didn't ask how such and such is going, especially the big events in their lives.
