DH is adopting a cat.

DH lost his cat last month. She passed away, she had a tumor and was also a very old cat. She was 18 years old. He was sad for a while but says that he is ready to get another cat. He loves them sooooooooo much and really cannot be without one. So he did some research online and found an adoption agency online. This cat and it's siblings were found by a ramp on a parkway...

All the other siblings have been adopted he is the last one and DH said he wants him. He got to see him today and he held him and cat never moved cuz DH was rubbing and scratching him and he just purred and purred, he even arched his head back so DH could rub him under his chin...what a little stinker! We bought him this furniture that's like a tower where he can go up one level to another and play and sleep...we bought him catnip toys to play with. we were watching him today playing with a little ball...what a riot!!! DH's old cat didn't play with toys cuz she was a very old cat with no energy. I'm hoping this furniture tower thingy will keep him occupied and away from our furniture...

His name is Serge but we are thinking of naming him ralphie after ralph kramden and DH's friend Ralph who helped us out with a great burial spot for Lucy the old cat that died...

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW how cute, sorry bout the other cat, Chat Icon but at least she lived a very long time, Chat Icon , and YES keep your little guy very busy on that cat tree with plenty of cat nip- I did this with my cat and he has NEVER scratched the furniture- he has however layed on the top of the couch but Im ok with that- as long as no scratching, he is not declawed- I couldnt do it to him after hearing how painful it is Chat Icon good luck and have fun with your new kittie!!!!!
