What kind of bottles??
What kind of bottles did/does your newborn use? Which do you like best? I bought some Dr. Browns but I am really liking the evenflo ones that are ergonomically correct. As of now I have 6 dr. browns, 5 avents that were given to me and I am thinking about putting the newborn set on my registry of evenflows. Anyone?

I have been using the advent to give Gianna BM and I love them, no problems with gas, easy to clean, just don't overtighten them.

I live for Dr Browns and Bella is 8 1/2 months old...I know the gas isn't a huge problem anymore but I love them...
I also put Avent on my registry and never used them...

Re: What kind of bottles??
Julia is doing well with the Dr Brown bottles. We tried the Avent but they always leaked and she had episodes of gas with them much more often. I would suggest not registering for too many bottles - unless you plan on returning some of them. Its good for the baby to get used to one nipple - since all of the nipples and flow on the bottles are different - it may cause some confusion with the baby. I would try to stick with one brand and see how they work for you. and the baby.
ETS - my cousin uses Evenflo and her baby has been doing well with it.

We used Platex Nursers with the NaturaLatch silicone nipples. These are the disposable one's.

Re: What kind of bottles??
We used Dr. Brown's from day one and so far so good. I bought the 8 oz wide neck ones, b/c he was drinking more than 4 oz very quickly, so the 4 oz would've been a waste of $$ for us.

Re: What kind of bottles??
Oddly, Dr. Browns didn't work well for my DD -- we use Playtex Nursers & she's had no problems with them.

Re: What kind of bottles??
Another Dr. Browns user.....so much better for my son than the playtex and avent. The worst case of gas he ever had was when I tried to use the avent

Re: What kind of bottles??
Dr. Brown's here, too.
Don't buy too many different kinds, you will be stuck with them. Maybe buy one of each if you want to try them out before you choose.
