Why do people have to look for a belly that isn't there?
So one of my coworkers who knows that I am pg decided to tell me today that she saw my belly rounding out.
I am 13 weeks and still wearing most of my clothes. There is nothing to see but I think she has been looking for something since I told her. Why can't people just let you develop without pointing out everything they think they see? I am self conscious enough I don't need to have someone remind me.
This is also a woman who when she suspected I was pg she let me know how HUGE my boobs had gotten.

people don't really think before they speak - being pregnant to them means they can just say whatever apparently!

I guess because people get so excited when someone they know is pregnant, that the fun part is seeing the "belly". I understand where you are coming from, but dont be offended.

Re: Why do people have to look for a belly that isn't there?
When I was only 10 weeks I was at my cousins gradutation party and I had people asking me if I knew what I was having and how I dont even look pg, mind you these are women who have had kids, the men don't know any better. As far as my boobs, I went up a full cup size almost right after I found out I was pg. It was really hard to hide a 34DD chest, so I just went with the flow and a coworker told me after I told her she figured I was so did the whole office because of my chest. Everyone would also look at my stomach but I think they were super excited because I was the youngest in the office and I think they saw me more a daughter figure. They saw me get exganged then married and now have a baby. All my bosses are between 49 & 65 so they loved to see my belly grow.

You know how people can't help but stare at cleavage in women that display it?...
I feel the same way about my belly - people see me, then look at my belly -
