Car Seat Question
How important is it to stick to the guidelines in terms of weight and/or height? And which is more important?
Andrew is not yet 20 lbs (but close), but he is 29 inches long. It says the Graco Snugride is good for up to 26 inches.
I'm worried about his safety and comfort. Should I upgrade to the convertible car seat?
Thanks.

Re: Car Seat Question
Jake was 7 months when we started using his convertable car seat. He was 27 inches long and about 18 pounds. It has much more room in it and he seems to be so much more comfortable. I say go ahead and switch seats, just make sure it is still rear facing.

Re: Car Seat Question
Absolutely switch seats! But be sure to keep him rear facing. We switched Andrew to the Britax Marathon at 4 months old!

Re: Car Seat Question
Same thing here, my daughter isn't 20 lbs. yet, but she is longer than the recommended "less than 26 inches". I will be buying a convertible car seat this weekend and start using it.
