Looks Like We Have to Put A Crib Bumper In After All
Poor Alex.
I didn't have bumpers in her crib for fear of SIDS.
I tried the breathable one, but it was always getting loose, it just didn't fit in our crib very well (we have a convertible/sleigh-type crib), so I just got rid of a bumper all together.
Well, now that she's so mobile, she wakes almost every night crying (most nights screaming) b/c she bangs her little head on the crib.
I'm just going to have to look into a nice, tight, thin bumper to protect her little noggin.

I have bumpers in Hayley's crib..if not, she would be putting her legs and arms through the bars and constantly dropping her binkie out

I also have the bumpers in Emily's crib, but I completely understand people who don't put them in there since it is a risk. See how it goes with it in there. Since she's so used to not having it she may not even like it.

We've had bumpers from day one. I know Miranda would definitely be banging her head and getting limbs caught now that she is so mobile. I think now that she can move around Alex would know if she was too close to the bumper and would move away.

at 16 months Connor still hasbumpers in his crib. He has always been a mover and often winds up with his head up against the rails.

Bumpers are still in over in this house!!  They were out for a month or so, but now they're back in full force....

We always used bumpers with my son and now we do with my daughter. Sara already already them for a ladder to see what is going on outside her crib .

I have 2 sets in because I too have the sleigh crib (hard stuff) and Brianna pulls her hread into it everytime she's in there so I put one ontop so she wouldnt do that.. Now she is pulling on them to see whats going on outside and pulling herself up so now I dont know what to do..

Do you have the angel care monitor? It really is reassuring to hae that in the crib - it monitors sound and movement- it monitors their breathing and its so worth it!
