Carseat/booster seat question...
Caiden is 26 months and he just doesn't seem to fit into his carseat anymore. He's still in 97th percentile for height, and he's about 40 lbs. He's in the Evenflo Triumph and the straps are on the top opening, but his legs are so scrunched up. I know the booster seats are for ages 3 and up, and he's not 3 of course, but he is the size of the average 3 yr old. Do you think I would be better off getting a booster seat or would that be unsafe??? I have no idea, so I thought I'd ask you guys! Thanks!

Re: Carseat/booster seat question...
What you need is a Combo Booster seat. It still allows you to harnass your toddler while having a larger range in weight/height. I've done a lot of research lately because Gabriella is going to need one soon and it seems that Evenflo is often the most recommended (generations/chase,) it seems. Supposedly Costco/Eddie Bauer are not great for tall kids because supposedly the harness slots are typically lower than any other of the models out there. I have yet to make it out and compare a list that I have that interest me. Hopefully by mid April because Gianni is desperate need to move up out of his infant seat.
BTW, the Triump's weight limit is 40 pounds. Also, if his ears are at the top of the seat, he is too tall.
