whatever you buy, there should be a video or something on the internet (somtimes) that you can watch. prehaps try to get one of those and you can see the whole process in reference it back when you need it
(i plan on doing this too)
Which kind did you get? I plan on taking advangtage of the costco ones soon before they go off sale

Re: for those that installed glueless laminate floors on your own
I did my kitchen all on my own! I bought the tiles and extra super strong tile glue to make sure the stuck well, which I applied with a spackle knife. I didn't really use any extra tools other than a good stanley knife with a sharp blade. They are easy to cut and lay on your own.

some do, not all, but they are similar if you see another product. home depot even has demostrations somtimes with those classes they do.
costco is about 1.15 sq ft for 8mm board package is sets for 17sq ft for $20 with coupon. (coupon is $5 off package until march 5th i think)
you would still need to buy the part that goes under it for $30 for up to 150 sq. ft..
it comes in 3 colors

Re: for those that installed glueless laminate floors on your own
I did my living room all by myself. It was really easy. I just used the wood block (you can get it at home depot) and a rubber mallet. I used a circular saw to make the cuts and it went pretty fast. You definitely need some elbow grease to bang the parts together.
Oh, you also need the silver hook thingy ( I know very helpful). You can find it in the flooring section. It helps you click in the last boards that are up against the wall. You can't hit them with the mallet.
Good Luck and post pics.

ok got it piece of wood and and rubber hammer.
some of the visuals Ive seen on the internet show them just snaping them together, no hammer no nothing. Is that possible? thanks again

You can get different thickness of padding too.... we got really thick padding because we have an apartment downstairs... It is really easy to snap together, I was surprised!
