I lost the key to my truck today

I lost the key to my truck today
and I tried to make a copyof the only one I have now and they said the dealer has to so I call the Ford dealer and they said its gonna cost $50

That sukks. They know you have no choice but to get it from them!  It probably costs them $3.

Not if its a "chipped" key. Or a key that also has the buttons to open your car doors.
Those keys are expensive. Be glad its a Ford. An Audi key is over $100.

toyota and mitsubishi keys are also over 100...I had this problem in the past. Look around...maybe u will spot it.
