Light Concept Nails in NYC? LI? of UV Gel Nails?
I'll be in NYC for a massage and want to know if anyone can refer me to a place that does Light Concept Nails or UV Gel nails in NYC?
Thanks.

Re: Light Concept Nails in NYC?
Do you go to Pilo? I'm asking because my gf suggested them to me. But it's too far for me.
I figured since I was in NYC, that I'd get Light Concept Nails done while I'm here.. but I can also wait and get them done back at home in LI.. Can anyone recommend a place in LI?
Also, what's the difference between light concept nails and UV Gel nails? I'm confused. I usually get manicures but I hate it because 2 days after, they are chipped and I end up having to remove the polish off of them. What a waste.

Re: Light Concept Nails in NYC?
Where is Pilo? The name of the Nail Salon I go to in Brooklyn is called Nail Plus. The light concept nail is much better for your nails. It has no odor or fumes, no yellowing or discoloration, no harmful primer. It is more flexible and less risk of fungal infection. When you LCN it cannot be damaged by acetone or nail polish. It is more natural. I love it so much I swear by it even though it is costly but so worth it.

I was referring to Pilo Arts? It's in Brooklyn, not sure where exactly though?
Yes, that's what I heard. I refuse to do wraps or acrylic to my already weak nails and I heard about this and heard of how wonderful it was. I know that one friend of mine went into a nail salon asking for Light Concept Nails and instead of light concept nails, walked out with a silk wrap with permanent french =/

No, I have not been to Pilo. I refuse to get anything other than LCN. It is very natural and nnot damaging to the nails. Alot of nail salon does UV gel but they do not know about LCN. It costs more but I do not mind spending the $$$.

I don't care about the cost. It's really about what places do it. It's hard to find places that do it or better yet, some say they do and then you walk out with something else.

Alot of them do not have a clue what LCN is. I have been going to Nail Plus in Brooklyn for a year now. I am quite satisfied with my nails they are so natural and healthy. I also do get alot of compliments.

I make sure my nails are short. I always have the LCN with permanent french manicure. Very elegant and classy isn't it?

There is jar with a gel and like two more jars witha white paste. I know with the LCN they do not use regular nail polish. The products also mark LCN on them.
