Sleeping in Crib Advice
Peyton is two months old and the ONLY place she'll sleep is in her infant carrier / stroller. I'm trying to move her into the crib but it's just not working. She only "cat napped" in the bassinett. I go back to work soon and I'm going to have to put her in day care and I'm not sure how I can get her to sleep in the crib. Anyone experience this? Or have any advice for me? My first daughter was so easy. She went right into the crib no problem so this is all new to me.

Re: Sleeping in Crib Advice
Ryan slept in his carrier for the 1st 2.5 months- then one day I just put him in the crib and he adjusted well...
The only thing I can suggest is maybe start off by putting the carrier in the crib... so she gets use to her surroundings, then take it away...???

Re: Sleeping in Crib Advice
Jacob slept in his carrier for 2 months also. Then one night, i decided enuf was enuf, and i swaddled him tight in the miracle blanket, and built him a receiving blanket fort around his body to make him feel like he was in a tight place ( like his carrier or my uterus) . then i turned on his monitor to static, and the rest is history. He's been in it ever since sleeping 7-8 hr stretches, waking, eating, then back down again. Good luck!

Re: Sleeping in Crib Advice
Well I put her in it last night and she slept - "ok". Not as good as she would if she was in her infant carrier but she slept. Hopefully she'll do better tonight.

Re: Sleeping in Crib Advice
Well, if she did okay, then it can only get better with each night. I'm sure tonight will be a little better!
