How much is a good amount to eat?
I'm not looking to loose any weight obviously, but I'm afraid that I'm probably eating more than I should be and don't want to gain too much. I'm afraid to cut back though because I don't want to starve the baby How do you know how much is a good amount to eat? Is there a certain amount of calories you should have? I've done WW in the past so I don't even know how many calories I would usually eat-just points. Right now I'm just trying to make good choices in the foods I eat.

Don't worry too much about amounts...as long as you're not eating a half gallon of ice cream everyday, you're fine. Continue making good food choices and eat whenever you are hungry. Having smaller meals more frequently usually helps to stave off any morning sickness you might be suffering, too!

Re: How much is a good amount to eat?
My pre-pregnancy caloric intake was about 1500cal. My doc said you only need 300 extra calories more when you are expecting, so I aim for 1800 a day (sometimes more depending on my workout). I always keep a food journal to track the calories and types of foods I am consuming daily. This has helped me tremendously. Good luck.

ON WW you get 10 extra points for nursing. They wont tell you, but I think it should be the same for PG.
