do you register for baby clothes?

Was talking to a fellow preggo and she has a lot of baby clothes and onsies on her registry i said that people will buy that stuff anyway you dont need to register for it neccessarily. what do you think?

No, everyone told me not to - you get so much of that at the shower and when the baby is born.

I registered for onesies and stuff like that....but no clothes!

I did register for onesies you could never have too many, and I did get a lot of outfits but not alot of onesies..

I didn't register for clothes and I got a TON of them anyway at my shower -- I think ppl like to pick that stuff out themselves, which is why I didn't register for them in the first place.

You can do a layette at Denny's and then when the baby is born you can pick it up.

Yeah same here. We also got tons more clothes after he was born.

No I didn't. Plus the stuff changes so often who knows if what you register for will still be there.
I did register for some onesies, tees, etc. but ended up buying them myself.
