i found a baby bird
so i am coming home from doing food shopping and i have the shopping cart..there is a narrow path towards my building door and it has steps so im lugging the cart and all of a sudden i see this little poof ball on the floor..I ALMOST RAN OVER IT, THANK G-DI LOOKED DOWN!! and i lean closer cause i couldnt tell what it was...and it was A BABY BIRD!!! it was shaking cause its sooo chilly outside and sooo super tiny...it has a green belly and a yellow stripe and a cute little tail..i think it was maybe a finch or parakeet or something...so i am terrified to go near it--fear of disease and all that but i couldnt just leave it there to freeze, so i called my mom who came down with some tupperware and we scooped him into it and gave it to my neighbor who has a bunch of birds hopefully she can feed it and take it to her vet... i think the poor thing had a broken leg it was just hanging there.. I hope it lives
