Time to say goodbye
Well, we accepted one of the two offers on our house last night. Only $2k less than asking price, and probably a good $10k over what we and our broker thought the house was worth...
I have such mixed feelings! I'm so attached to this house - we gutted it and made it into exactly what we wanted, by ourselves. We got married while living here (twice!), I passed the bar in this house, we got pregnant in this house, and brought our daughter home to this house. I have such memories here... it's going to be so hard to move out

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE...I hope I can find one that "done"....I agree with previous poster, I am working on getting third house.....on to the next chapter, and making beautiful memories in a house I loved even more than the one before!

We need a bigger house. And hubby was just itching to do another rehab. We found a gigantic fixer-upper (3100 sq.ft and half an acre) in a good neighborhood that we just couldn't pass up...

It's beautiful - and I KNOW the feeling. We are going through the same thing right now. I have mixed feelings too.
