Bath Fitter

Has anyone ever used them? Any negative/positive experiences? How cost effective is it in regards to just gutting th whole bathroom???

TIA

Re: Bath Fitter

Its a little expensive.

When you get a quote... wait them out. They will probably call you back in a week or two and negotiate the price down further.

I have heard decent things about them though. People love the fact that they clean very easily... no mold issues... etc.

But expect to pay anywhere from 2k to 4k for it.

Re: Bath Fitter

Thanks so much... It may take more time, but in the long run I might as well demo the bathroom and have DH's friend come do everything... I wasnt expecting it to be that expensive for acrylic to be fitted over a pre-existing bathtub...

We were going to do that or something similar. But we realized that since our whole bathroom needs to be done over that it makes more sense to just get a new tub. Unless you want something with jets, tubs are not that expensive.

My mother had her bathroom done probably 10 years ago and she's had no problems. Her house had only 1 bathroom at the time and with 3 of us living there then we couldn't afford to not have access to the bathroom for more than 1 day, which is all that bathfitter took.

Us too. I can't wait to gut our bathroom, but we have to put in a second bathroom first.
