Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Planting Q
I know, I know, another planting question...
I cleaned out our beds,and we had topsoil delivered. Now, do I put the plants halfway in, and then put the new topsoil over, OR do I put the new topsoil in the beds, and then dig the holes for the plants...
Does it matter?
Dh and I have conflicting views on this...

My guess would be to put the top soil in and then dig the holes. If you poor the topsoil in over the plants, you'll end up having to brush the dirt off the plants/flowers.
I have no idea if this is right....
