disturbing email..your info on the internet!
i wanted to let everyone see this, it scared me when all my info came up under my name!!
Subject: Take action... This can be quite dangerous.
This is a little disturbing on how easy it is to find someone..
SHARING WITH YOU SOME INFORMATION A FRIEND SENT TO ME ...
Beginning this month (JULY '06) a new database will be available to the
general public free of charge that displays your personal information
(names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates). (Soc. Sec. is available
for
a price.) The database is found at <http://www.zabasearch.com/>
http://www.zabasearch.com/ type in your
name and check ... you'll be SHOCKED as I was!
I urge you to forward this email to family and friends. Check to see if
your
name and information is in their database. If so and you want it
removed,
send them an e-mail at
[email protected]
to request it be removed. I do
not know how our names are appearing there, but I checked my own and a
few
other random ones and they are all in this database!
After opting out by email, check back after a few days to make certain
your
information has been removed. If it has not been removed then file a
complaint with your State's Attorney General.

I removed myself a long time ago but forgot how. Now I want to remove DH. I'm fairly certain I emailed them but now I don't see how to.

Wow! I just looked myself up and under my info I found my mother and father ages and names. Most disturbing was that they also had my brothers names and ages, but both my siblings are deceased. I didn't enjoy seeing how old they should be.

DH is under our old address though.

I'm not listed under my married name but I'm on there under my maiden name at my current address. 
My DH is listed 5 times -----
1 - Our current address
2 - previous address of his co-op that he owned before we got married. He is listed once with his middle initial and twice without
3 - my inlaws address where he never lived.
Quick how do I get myself removed from this list. I don't see a way to email them.

this honestly doesnt shock me... i was a journalism major in college and had to take a class called fact finding... our major class project was to pick a person and find out as much as we could about that person using public records searches... it is AMAZING what you could find using just public records... and the public records info leads you to a lot of other information that you wouldnt even realize is legally available to anyone!

That is REALLY scary! I found my old college addresses. It also listed my parents and 2 of my 3 siblings. I just sent an email requesting to be removed ASAP!

I just sent them an e-mail requesting that my information be removed and, immediately, received a response stating that this needs to be done in writing. Sites like this drive my crazy!
