Poor Bella!!!
So we thought we were going to have a nice trip to NY this weekend (we live in VA) Well we were in NY for all of 20 minutes and Bella got hurt!!! She was running up the deck stairs, and tripped and fell!! Imediately she was limping around and not putting any weight on her hind leg, so we took her to the emergency vet, well the good thing is no broken bones, BUT she she ruptured her cruitial ligamnent (ACL) in her knee!! A $3000 surgery to repair!!! We called our vet in VA, and she is sceduled for surgery on the 11th.....And she just finally healed from here spaying......Now the problem....keeping her "quiet" till surgery.... How do you keep a 7 month old puppy immobilized?? The vet said the ONLY walking she should do is going to the bathroom!
