So I was at a really really fun babyshower yesterday and the woman next to me told me that the only problem with babyshowers and registries is that almost everything you get is 0-3 mos.
What is there to register for that the baby uses when he/she is older? Other than toys I mean.

Clothes... I didn't register for any clothes but a lot of people sent us clothes in the 3-18 month size range when Alex was born. Very helpful so I don't have to run out and buy new clothes everytime she has a growth spurt

jumperoo, larger diapers, swim diapers, booster seat, shopping cart cover, nice umbrella stroller, baby feeder, baby spoons, baby self food spoons, sippy cups, things for bathtime after the baby is out of infant bath tub.... etc....
There are plenty of things
I put on as a note on my regisrty to please purchase clothing in any size but 0-3 months.. most people listened.
My son was out of 0-3 in a few weeks. He is now 5 months and in 9-12 months already due to his length.

Thanks for the replies! this is great to keep in mind too for when she actually has the baby and I want to bring over christmas gifts etc.
Thats really good to know about the note-I have highchair and stuff in mind for my own registry, but the booster seat and other bath stuff was a great idea!
