aww!! yes!I know that feeling! for my first, I waited 3 months and for my second, I was almost 5 months pregnant! I waited the same amount of time with third. The funny part was that everytime I was pregnant, someone would ask me when I was planning to have kids lol I felt like shouting I'M PREGNANT!

Re: For those that waited 3 months to tell work that you were pg....

With my first PG I told people right away. With this one, I'm 17 weeks and only some of the people here at work know. 1 of my bosses only found out 1 week ago. It's a lot harder for me to hide it now. I'm currently just going with the let me belly grow and see how long it takes people to notice. I'm not one to announce it, plus I'm VERY superstitious. The first PG is much different though. If you want to wait to tell people, then wait! I was planning on telling work at 12 weeks, then I decided that I didn't "need" to at that point so I waited.

yes, I waited till 12 weeks to tell co-workers only because of my m/c.
It was hard because I was so sick, and people would tell me..."your sick, stay away from me".
All i wante dto say, was no its morning sicnkess, but after they found it, they realized why I was sick.

I definently have to tell at 12 weeks especially since another girl in my department is due in September and I am due 12/1...its hard to keep it in though!! I am avoiding some people that knew that we were TTC so I dont have to answer any questions. Chat Icon

It was hard!! Especially when people would start talking about their past pregnancies, their kids, etc.

I waited...and yes it was hard, because I was always yawning in meetings and people would always make fun of me and tell me to get more sleep. But I'm only a consultant here. They were talking about keeping here past my contract (which ends in May) and I felt I should say something before I accepted the offer to extend. Luckily, they were fine with it and they still want to extend with me. I don't really have friends here though.

I waited until I was 15 weeks to tell my bosses, supervisors, etc. But I told the secretary that I worked with at about 9-10 weeks, I couldn't hold it in... once I told my bosses, everyone else was told...

Just a note - when I did finally tell my bosses, 2 of them told me they kinda figured - who knew? Chat Icon

i told my coworkers on the third month. Everyone was happy and shocked. At first they didn't believe me i had to show them my sonogram. I haven't told my supervisors but i am sure they know because i can't hide my belly.

I'm a teacher and it was so hard to keep it from my collegues but even harder to keep it from my class. They are fifth graders and very perceptive. When I finally did break the news, my girls were like "I KNEW IT". They said that I had seemed more tired and not as skinny as the beginning of the year. Kids!

Re: For those that waited 3 months to tell work that you were pg....

I wanted to wait, but since i have been out sick twice, and out because of bedrest this week, I thought it was good to tell my main boss, so that he knows that I am not just taking off for no reason.

He was happy to hear it, although he is worried that I won't come back after I have babyChat Icon Chat Icon

So now all of my bosses know and 3 other people...now I am sure other people will start to know. Some are already looking at me and guessing.Chat Icon

I told the 2 girls on my phonebank immediately, we are really close. I had to tell my banker the other day, he had left a big suitcase for me to drag down to a car, I wasn't about to do it, so I told.

I waited 12 weeks to tell everyone but told my good friend at work from the beginning. It was nice to have someone I could talk to about it and just in case something happened, someone knew I was pregnant.
