What kind of lighting do you have in your dining room??
We currently have high hats in our living room but we are extending it and I dont know if I should get rid of the high hats and just put a chandler or should I keep the high hats, or do both...Im very undecided......

I like the look of a fixture over a dining room table, but I also wouldn't get rid of the high hats. If you do add a fixture i'd put both the high hats and the fixture on a dimmer.
Are the high hats laid out so you can add a fixture right in between them?

We have high hats but we also have 4 pendants that hang over our dining room table.

We have Hi-hats and a chandelier. We can put both on or not. But the hi-hats are on a dimmer.

No they are not so either way they will have to be redone. Im leaning more to puting a set of high hats on each side of the chandler...I think

I have something very similar to this.
My DR and Kitchen are one room, so I get light from the flouresent light in the kitchen as well. Image Attachment(s):

hmm - I'd either do both chandelier and high hats or just the chandelier...
It's personal pref. Our DR is formal so we have just the chandelier...

I would just do a chandelier. it provides plenty of light so i think that the high hats would be overkill.

I do NOT have a FD. We have a kitchen/livingroom combo. I have a bunch of high hats and a small chandelier/pendent over my table.
Actually, I will have this. It's in the making.

Jenn, we have the same thing, we have no high hats in the dining room at all.
We have the chandelier and then 2 sconces on the wall next to each window.
I think not putting high hats in the dining room def gives it a more formal look
