What kind of shoes do your school age girls wear for spring?
DD needs spring shoes. She only has her sneakers and boots.
She is very much like me in that she can't really wear flats. I bought her a pair for her Xmas photo shoot and a pair for her Easter dress and she complained of pain the whole time and got really bad blisters.
So, what the heck can she wear for spring/summer?

My 5 year old wears her Sperry seacoast sneakers with dresses. She has the silver glittery ones.

What kind of shoes do your school age girls wear for spring?
Last year I got my girls cute Mary Jane style sneakers from osh kosh. They were good for running around and comfy but looked cute with skirts and dresses.
At 5, dd is such a pain with shoes bc she has very strong opinions. Today she's wearing a cream dress with white tights and silver shoes. It's making me crazy.

What kind of shoes do your school age girls wear for spring?
Saltwater Sandals are a staple around here. We have them in many colors. They are leather, can get wet (although we don't use them in the water), and they don't give you blisters. They aren't great for the playground, but they do buckle on/off, so they are allowed in our school. They are on Amazon, which I always order from since they do free returns. They run about a size large though for the classic version. Make sure you read reviews if you get them.
We also have Crocs mary jane type shoes. Those are close toed, and are functional. I can't find that style in the larger sizes now, so once she is grown out of these, that's it I guess!
She also wears converse low top sneakers, and other cute patterned tennis shoes...they have some at Old Navy that are fun. She has a navy and pink pair with flamingos on them. They are cheap

My girls wear sneakers and then flip flops in summer
Flats never worked for them
When they were very young (and didn't argue with me) i always got a good sandal covering toes (from stride ritr)

What kind of shoes do your school age girls wear for spring?
My DD likes the mary jane sneaker from Skechers. Or she'll wear sandals too. She can't do flats or flip flops. She needs her foot to be held in somehow.

My girls wear converse low tops, sperrys, flats, or other slip ons (they like these roxy ones we found at famous footwear). I also saw cute croc Mary Janes that we might grab also.

I love the Stride Rite sandals and get them every year because they're not hot on her feet and the toes are still covered. I get them for both of my girls and probably will until the older one grows out of them.
