What kind of take home outfit for a june/july baby?
Would you still do a long sleeve sleeper type outfit even though it will be warm? i know babies dont regulate their temperature well in the beginning so i didnt know if an outfit with exposed legs would be appropriate

crashing, but we had our DS at the end of June. It was warm, but we brought him home in a long sleeve/footsie terry cloth one piece outfit. I was unsure at first, but I was glad he was all covered up and in a breathable material at the same time.

its a good ieda... because anywhere they will be will likely be in A/C so it wont be warm to them

Light long sleeve top and bottoms.
They're really not outside so much the first week and mostly in AC homes where it's cool and comfy anyway.
Everything was breathable and my favs were the sweetpea type PJ's where there's nothing for the legs. It just snaps together and it looks like they have no legs

I'm thinking of doing long sleeves and pants for  but in a light-weight material. I figure you can always put blankets on. More than likely I will not put her in anything too heavy.

DD's were born in May and we put them in dresses. They had blankets wrapped around them to stay warm.

I got an adorable outfit at Babies R Us. Since it will most likely be June, I wanted a onesie, with pants to put over and a jacket just in case. It's all very lightweight material and came in one set

my mom and i are going to BRU tomorrow to look for take home outfits, hence the question. on the site i saw some cute sets

I brought Charlie home (6/10, during a heat wave) in an organic cotton, long sleeved, footed onesie. They recommend you dress babies in an extra layer than what you wear yourself.
She was fine - not hot or sweaty...

I brought DD home on July 4 in a light long sleeve shirt and light footed pants and a hat. I took it off as soon as we got home and put her in a onesie because she seemed too hot. But I think it was good for the AC.

I'm going to shoot for a "traditional" take home outfit b/c of the A/Cs. My concern is that my DH has the A/C in the car running before we get the baby in there!

We did a onesie, with jacket, pants, socks, and hat.
I figured with the a/c layers were the way to go.

My little man is due August 28th, so more likely then not, it will be realllll hot.
I got him this to wear and I will put a blanket on him as well. He is going to wear the captain adorable one.

I registered for an outfit from BRU but you can't see it online so I can't post a pic.
it's a really cute little summery outfit. nice material. girly, delicate and summery.
I also plan on having her wear a hat and I'l have a blanket.
i'm due july 3rd.

Due June 4th. My take home outfit consists of short sleeve onesie, long sleeve light weight zip up jacket, pants, hat and either booties or socks.

DS1 came home from the hospital 8/1 and we had him in this Ralph Lauren Madras shorts romper with a cotton hat and socks:
awww look at his little arm all irritated from the tape
DS2 will wear the same outfit, and I bought DS1 matching shorts and a polo!
