What kind of wine you do drink?
Recommend a good wine to me. I always drink beer or capt morgan and I'm looking for a change. Nothing too expensive! TIA

Do you know if you like red or white?
If you never really drank wine I'd say start with white. It's a little bit easier going done and it's chilled.
Pinot Grigio is my favorite white.

You should make it a point to head out to the LI wineries in the north fork this summer. Its a great day trip.

Barefoot Cellar wines are very inexpensive and very good.
The sauvignon blanc is very light and the pinot grigio is light too.
As for reds I prefer syrah (shiraz) or cabernet.
I just bought the coppola syrah and it was very good and $9.99 for the bottle.

It depends what you want.
For a light crisp wine- without food- I like a Pinot Grigio.
With food, I usually like Red. My faves are pinot noir or merlot.
I have taken some trips out to the wine country. Some vinyards i love are Clos du Bois, Ravenswood, Kenwood, Chateau at St. Jean, Casa Nuestra.
If you are going for a Syrah, Australlia is the best place. I like Yellowtail.
If you are going for merlot and you want foreign- the Chilean wines are great.

I am a fan of reds.
I am not sure if you are partial to a red or white...
but if you are looking for an inexpensive, but good every day wine..I recommend Rosemount Estates Shiraz or even Shiraz Cab.

Me three!!! My new fave with WHATEVER I am eating!
ETA that I like Reisling because of the sweetness & I prefer chilled wine, so I am not a fan of reds anyway.

Santa Margherita is my fave as far as Pinot Grigio goes, but it's a little on the expensive side. So I really like Cavit Pinot Grigios... it's cheaper but still yummy!

I usually prefer reds.. and I really like Rioja's.
If I do white, lately I have been into Pinot Gris.

I'm on a Sauvignon Blanc kick lately (usually a Pinot Grigio drinker) and I would recommend Geyer Peak - not expensive.
But Pinot Grigio also is a good place to start. I second Luna di Luna or Santa Margherita.

Pinot Grigio is my favorite as well. And on Saturday my friend brought over the most amazing bottle of Pinot I ever had. It was a blue bottle and it tasted so good. It was not Luna de Luna though (I've had that one and although I really did like that one, this one was different and better - in my opinion). I'll try to find out the name for you.

These are the two we usually go with . Santa Margherita when we want to splurge, and Cavit when it's just for whatever.
