what kinds of pacifiers do/did your dc like?? - and if it changed, when did it?
Samantha loved the soothies for about two weeks, then loved the mam ones and now likes the munchkin bling ones, nuks and mam ones...we were wondering how often she will change her mind as we get ready to buy a new round and stage of them!

DD likes the avent pacifiers..
we used them b/c they came w/ the starter set- and figured if she liked the bottles she'd like the pacificers.

same here. but both my kids gave up the pacifiers for their thumbs around 3 months old. DS no longer sucks his thumb and DD is 9 months and does when she's sleepy.

My son will take any kind of pacifier we give him. He has an obsession with pacifiers  However, he mainly gets Avent pacis.

DD was on the old fashioned Gerber round pacis, then around 6 months (I think) started taking a MAM.
She found an old soothie the other day from when she was a newborn and popped that in her mouth....
she's very non-discriminating now at 13 months old.

DS RARELY takes a paci but when he does, it is only the avent.
Funny story, we went out to dinner on saturday night with a few other couples. One of the couples has a 7mo little girl and forgot (or lost) her paci. The mom was looking frantically for her paci when I mentioned that I have a few extra. Knowing that Jeremy doesn't take a paci, she was  I explained, as I took out my ziplock of 10 (yes 10!) assorted steralized pacifiers, that if today was going to be the day that DS decided he wanted one, I was certainly not going to be without it! And what if he didn't want the one I was carrying at the time?

She has the soothies - tried the NUK and she spit it out. She barely uses them anymore. Once in a blue moon she likes to use them right before falling asleep. I'm grateful I don't want to have to worry about weaning her off them.
She $ucks her fist more than anything else!!!

First he like the Soothie, then he kept spitting that out. Then we tried a regular one with the flat tip (don't know what it's called) and he hates them, but he'll tolerate it. Then we tried the Playtex Binky silicone one and he like that. THen I got him the regular Playtex Binky and the nippole is fatter and longer and now that is all he will take. 
Now, at 3 months I see he doesn't want it as much, but he still likes it right before he falls asleep.

at first all they took was the avent ones bc thats all we gave them. we recently gave them the nuks and they LOVE them.
