What laundry detergent is everyone planning on using????
Someone i know uses All Free and Clear. Others use Dreft and Baby All. I heard that Dreft is expensive. So im debating which i should use.

i actually wasnt crazy of the smell of the dreft - i checked it out when i was in BRU. i think i'm going with the All Free & Clear - was that the one that has the ducks on the front and it was a white container??? it was either that or All Baby or something.

I used Baby All with my first - it was readily available at all stores and cheaper. DS never had sensitive skin.

I bought the Baby ALL. It's a white bottle, with Ducks and a pink top. It was only $4 for 80 loads - dreft was $12 for the same size bottle

You don't have to use any special detergent with baby's clothes...its a bit of a marketing gimmick really! I just used (and still use) my regular detergent!

i plan on using clear liquid detergent. 'studies' show that clear is safer for the skin. so for when my baby arrives i'll just use a portion of what i am suppose to use.. ie. instead of 1cup i'll use less than half.

I used Dreft for 2 small bottles worth after that I use free and clear detergent. I usually get either Arm and Hammer or All which ever is on sale. For fabric softner I use Totally Toddler which BRU and BBB sells.

We bought Costco's brand Kirkland All free and clear. I do have samples of Dreft that I will try out also.

I got a couple of bottles of dreft when they were on sale at target and I had coupons. So they ended up being $5 each. I have sensitive skin so I was afraid my babies might too.

I agree. I used my regular detergent for my first. She never had a problem from the start.

i used reg detergent as long as it didnt have any perfumes or dyes in it just incase ds had sensitive skin. and I will do the same for her.

We don't have a washing maching, so my mom offered to do  s laundry.
She will only use IVORY SNOW. She tried to use dreft, but after one load refused to ever use it again. I don't understand what the difference is, but she swears there is one.

I used All free and clear at first because it is cheaper than Dreft. Now I use Dreft and I love the smell! They have it at Costco.

I used Baby All then Dreft and now I try to use something "free and clear" but if I don't she's fine. She's one though. I would say for the first few months to use something without fragrance and color until you know if you baby has sensitive skin or not.
