what material is it that makes a really
warm coat? is it wool? im going to london in 2 weeks and none of my coats are warm..im going to buy a new one but need help..thanks

Suede is also pretty warm- if it's lined well.

in addition to the one's listed above, I also think some nylon coats with a DuPont "Thinsulate" lining is VERY warm!! and it's lighter weight too.

I agree with the wool/cashmere blend. Preferably one that is down to my ankles
Also, I hope to get a sheepskin shearling coat next year. I think they are the best.

definelty makes pea coats much warmer

I would recommend a down coat for london. The best coat I ever got for Winters in Europe, ironically was a London Fog coat.

My shearling is the warmest thing I have EVER put on my body.....!
Oh duh - you do NOT want to wear shearling in England -- too rainy.
