What maternity stores are around Smithaven mall?
I have heard of people talking about the one store that moved out of the mall to a nearby spot. Where? What other stores are in the area from Port Jeff to Islip to Wading River to Patchogue. I can't seem to find pants that are friendly to my growing belly. (Although it was a hoot to try on low rise maternity pants. If I don't move, then my a$$ will stay covered.  Men must have made them.)

I think its a Motherhood and its around the corner from the mall (in the same shopping center as Trader Joes). Take Middle country rd west, pass the mall and make a right on that first street (alexander ave)... I haven't been there yet, someone told me about it so I hope she's right! I keep meaning to go up there.

i went to old navy in bay shore, and kohls had some great stuff too...also macys has motherhood in it

Sears at Smithaven has maternity. Cute stuff and it's reasonable. It's usually always on sale.

It's Mimi and Motherhood in one store. Motherhood merchandise in the back (but there is a good amount of it).

Sears (Mall) Small selection
JC Penney (Mall) Small selection
Target (South Setauket) Adequate Selection
Mimi/Motherhood Maternity (347 & Alexander Ave-Circuit City/Traders Joes) Large Selection

FYI--Baby Bargains has info and ratings for maternity clothing stores--online stores and chain stores.

yup mimi maternity by trader joes i have been in there.. also in macys is mimi maternity i think they may be a bit cheaper on certain things..

kelly try target. they have a lot of maternity stuff also, which may be cheaper. i have about 3 pairs of capris and a few pants i interchange them.. you can also buy large shirts or xl shirts instead of maternity and get away with it since empire waist is in.

The store on Alexader Ave. has a HUGE selection of both Mimi and Motherhood clothes - definitely worth checking out. A lot of the Motherhood stuff is on sale and relatively inexpensive. And I've found it to be better quality than Target - also with more variety.
