What Memberships/Season Passes do you all have?

I am trying to figure out what to budget for this year and JUSTIFY spending so much money on. Most places will not be free for DS anymore come the summer. Also, is there some sort of package for the museums? DS has shown a HUGE interest in dinosaurs. Everytime I put on the Elmo's World where they're at the Muesum of Natural History he gets so excited at the huge dinosaur bones so I thought that would be a good day trip for us.

So far I have:
Empire Pass - since it covers the beaches and arboretum
Sesame Place
Atlantis Marine World -we go often

I did Splish Splash last year and it was a waste...he hated it :(

We live in Selden so many of the things in Nassau and the city wouldn't pay for us.

We have the Bronx Zoo membership and the LICM.

The Bronx Zoo gets you into the Aquarium and all the zoos (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Central Park), and we use it a lot over the summer.

The LICM we don't go to as often, but we got the bigger one so my in laws can take the kids when they go. Plus there are many children's museums/science centers you can get into for free with the reciprocity program. We have probably done that more than actually going to the LICM.

We have a 2 year old and a 7 month old, FYI.

We join the Bronx Zoo, LICM and this year we joined the Natural History Museum. It is $125 and the whole thing is tax deductible. It gives you a certain amount of IMAX tickets and then a number of tickets for some of the live exhibits (some of the special exhibits are free and unlimited).

I like that pass because they told us that it admits ANY 2 adults and up to 4 children. I can bring my father and both girls or my husband. They said that I could let my sister (I'm an only child) borrow the pass as well - as long as it is only 2 adults and 4 children. Considering how much 1 time to go was it was worth it - we have gone 2 times so far on the pass and the girls LOVE the museum.

We don't do any passes during the summer because we join our village pool.

WE have Hall of Science and it has a pretty good reciprocal program and have gone to LICM and a few others.

Will be joining the Bronx Zoo in the spring.

I had Children's Museum of the East End, but it expired recently. I need to renew because we went a lot. Very clean, small and cute. The gross motor room changes a lot. Right now they have a large play stucture in there that is great. They also have some nice special events.

We also had Bronx Zoo, but only went like twice the whole year since traffic basically sucks during the week, and the place is mobbed on the weekends.

for those that have the bronx zoo - are children under 2 free? trying to decide between the individual pass or family pass. DS is under 2.

I believe so. You can double check on the website. I know we didn't have to add the baby this year. I have the Individual plus membership so DH is on their and we get the parking paseses, etc., etc.

ETA: I just checked, 3 and under are free.

We have the Bronx Zoo pass. It was great. We go like 4-5 times/year. We are right in Bellmore so it's only about a 30 min drive.

We only have a pass to the Rivergead aquarium. But we live right near so it's great for a quick treat if we want to stop by. DS loves it.

We've talked about getting one to something like the Bronx Zoo but it's such a hike I can't see us getting that much use out if it.

Do they have on for the Long Island Game farm? DS is only 5 mos old, but if they do I could see us going there like once a week in the future! For me and for him!

We don't have any. We moved to DC and all the museums, zoos, aquariums, etc. are free.

If I still lived in NY, I would have gotten the Zoo and Children's Museum. My kids LOVE the Children's Museum.
