What other cars should i consider if I am interested in the Honda Pilot?
I am considering moving up to a Honda Pilot when my lease is up. I have a Honda CRV and love it but have 2 small kids. I def need more room and we plan on having a 3rd baby in a couple of years.
What other cars should I consider besides the Pilot? Thanks!

We just got a Pilot but, we also considered the GMC Acadia.
ETA - It may be worth it for you to stick with Honda though since most companies have great incentives for previous customers.

Re: What other cars should i consider if I am interested in the Honda Pilot?
We just bought a Pilot. We also looked at the Mazda CX9 and the Ford Explorer.
The #1 reason we went with the Pilot was that it was the only truck in that class that fit DD's rear facing convertible seat without forcing the front passenger seat all the way into the dash.
We've always had Mazdas, so we were hoping we'd like the 9. We did but not at the expense of not being able to use the front seat!

If you will have 3 carseasts the pilot will probably not work. The 3rd row is small and only acessible through folding down the passenger seat, so that wouldn't work with a carseat or booster in there. If that is a concern you may have to go minivan
If not, check out the Acadia, The Buick Enclave-MIL has this and its very nice!, The pilot is nice and has great resale value, but its not necessarily a luxury SUV if you care about that

OMG the Enclave is STUNNING. Total luxury too. It's expensive -but so is the Pilot I think. Check out the Buick

I have a 2011 Pilot and can fit all three car seats in the middle row. It even has anchors for 3 seats. It is a tight squeeze but you can do it. I love my Pilot so I am biased.

Yep, I have the Buick Enclave and I am super happy with it......
I am will double up what DRMom said about the Pilot, it's useless if you have 2 car seats taking up the second row... Because then you can't access the 3rd row easily without removing a car seat, etc. There is no option (that I am aware of) for Captains chairs in the second row. That's the one thing I always suggest if you don't go a mini van route and you will be using the 3rd row.
I use the 3rd row all the time in my Enclave, and my oldest just goes in the second row, and walks between the seats to the 3rd row. And the 3rd row is a 40-60 split AND has enough head space for a 6'+ tall adult so sit comfortably back there. Most CUV's with the 3rd row have that slanting back roofline that cuts space big time in the 3rd row.

Re: What other cars should i consider if I am interested in the Honda Pilot?
I have a Mazda CX9 too as well and love it.
I only have one kid though and honestly, we rarely use the 3rd row.
We liked the Pilot but they had no good lease deals at the time and couldn't afford the monthly payments to finance.
I also was driving a tiny tiny Ford Focus so the idea of going to something with a truck base was super intimadating to me.
