What other states are doing
In one of the other threads which has since derailed - someone asked what other states were doing.
Rhode Island just announced that masks are required in all venues over 250. Smaller venues - if you are vaxxed no mask is necessary, unvaxxed need a mask.

In NJ, I think it’s wear a mask if you’re not vaccinated. Some are wearing mask, majority aren’t. Masks are required in schools and doctors office.

Those are lumped in wtih the smaller indoor venues. So if you are unvaccinated- you need a mask. That's also only if they are checking vaccination status - if not, everyone needs a mask.

Last night we went to a restaurant and the place was PACKED, I mean NO tables, 30 minute wait on a Wednesday night. I think because people are getting together for Holiday get togethers. Mask had to be worn to walk in and out but not at the table. Tables not 6 feet apart. STU.PID.

I'm in NC but I think it varies by city. In my city (Triangle area) - masks are required indoors. Doesn't matter if vaccinated or not.

Oh it’s not enforced at all at any stores that I have been to. It’s kind of a “do you” situation. Some customers wear it some employees do. I think people started wearing them more with Omicron variant. But again majority aren’t wearing it. It’s not enforced in my building as well, which has always been the strictest.

I was just in southeast florida. There was no mask mandate. I would say about half were wearing masks half were not. Bars and restaurants were at full capacity. I believe mask mandates go by county in Florida as the county we are in had one last spring while some of the surrounding counties did not.

I have noticed a definite uptick in people wearing masks here even though no mandates have changed. I felt like the odd man out the other day in Kohl's being unmasked. lol
I've also seen many stores change their signs from "no mask if vaccinated" to "masks are encouraged regardless of vaccine status".

Our county isn't enforcing either. The county exec was basically like the DOH can't both vaccinate and enforce mask mandates simultaneously.
