The Graco MyRide 65 is a great seat. I'm a grandma and I have one in my car. My daughter also has one in her Toyota Matrix. It's a big seat but very comfy and fits well even in her small car. I think I paid $129 in Walmart. Occasionally Target has one style for $100 as well as BRU.

Cosco Scenera - You can get it for under $50, highly-rated both in IRL and LIF, lightweight and easy to install.
