What shoes with a pencil skirt?
I got this really cute pencil skirt from H&M- I also bought these cute steve madden shoes (pointy- but small heel) Does this go or no?
I was also thinking boots- but I am teacher so I still want to look somewhat teacher-y

sling backs, peep toes or high heel mary janes. tall boots for the colder months.

The shoes could work...though I tend to go for a higher heel with a pencil skirt. More specifically, T-straps.
Pencil skirts scream 40s to me, I guess that's why I lean towards the T-straps (different era, I know, but I can't exlain it LOL).
