what should you bring to a block party??
we are going to a block party and I want to bring something but I am not sure what to bring
maybe cookies

Cookies sound good to me. If your going to be their at the beginning spinach dip with pumpanickle (sp?) bread seems to do well at these things.

Watermelon 
fruit tray
veggie tray with dip
cooler with ice and various drink packages are much appreciated if the block has a lot of little kids
