what size??
Hey girl!! My babies girls are due in June and Im not sure what size clothes to get them for the summer and to take them home in.
How long did everyones babies stay in Newborn clothing?
Im so confused!!!

It really depends...I only had one set of preemie outfits and then borrowed some. Mine were born at 38wks and were 6lbs 4 oz and 4lbs 12oz. They were in NB clothes for a while...probably a couple of months. So, I would get your summer clothes in mostly NB. It really depends on the cut too...they could probably wear some 0-3mo.

My kids wore preemie stuff for about a month (dd was smaller...she wore it a little longer) then they were in NB and 0-3 for a LONG time! They didn't fit into 3mths til they were 4-5mths.
My kids are on the smaller side....always have been so they always wore smaller sizes. (they are 16mths now and wearing 12mths)

They wore premie stuff for the first month or so. Some newborn stuff fit them earlier. They are 9 weeks now and are still in newborn although some of it is starting to get small. They were 4 lbs 11oz when they were born now they are over 8 lbs. Hope that helps

i had a few preemie outfits .. they were both 4lbs when born.. so they were in those for the 1st month.
then newborn for most of the summer.. so until 3 months old.. they were wearing NB.

My DS was 5lbs7oz at birth and my DD was 6lb11oz at birth. When they came home my DS wore premie and my DD wore NB. Now at 10 weeks my DS is wearing newborn clothes and my DD is wearing 0-3 month clothes
