What size pbk backpack for Kindergartener?

Specifically - what size in the pottery barn kids online? The ones I am seeing jump from small to large - I am assuming there is no medium or is there? So did u get small or large - difficult to estimate without seeing on line - The pottery barn kid sizes are a little tricky! Thanks!

Definitely make sure it is large enough to fit a full size folder.

Large. Both my kids had large PBK bags in kindergarten. My school asks for large backpacks.

Just purchased size small for my kindergartener. I'm OOS so school already started here. It's the perfect size for him and he brings home school folders every day. I'd think a bigger one would overpower his small frame and not sit on his back correctly. And he's big for a 5 year old, 90th %ile.

I did small for K. It was plenty big for his school work and his lunch bag. He is just into the large size now going into 2nd grade. He used a non-pbk bag for 1st grade that was in between the small and large pbk sizes.

I asked this same questions a few weeks ago and ended up buying the Large from pottery barn. I am glad I did, I think it is the perfect size that they can grow into!
