DS is almost 2 1/2. He has 2 pairs of Nike sneakers and a pair of Converse high tops. I like both brands. I think the Nike sneakers he has are lightweight but supportive of his feet.

DS's first sneakers were nikes. I thought they were too heavy last yr but he was just learning to walk. I guess they will be fine for him now since he runs everywhere!

We get most of our sneakers at Target, but I just picked up a pair at the Adidas outlet for DS and he loves them!

Something like these, but all blue
And these in brown, when it gets warmer

I'm a huge fan of Pumas. If you order them though, just know the run small. I always have to order a size up.

She had a pair from Target - they were horrible - velcro wouldn't stay fastened, they would fall off. Just got a pair from stride rite and she loves them! They are lightweight

I have a DD but I love Geox sneakers. They are comfy and can take a beating and still look nice. They are $$ though but the actual stores sometimes have great sales. The last ones I got DD cost me $30 from the Geox store in Palisades Mall. I think Roosevelt Field also has a Geox store.

I recently bought DD Tsukihoshi sneakers and I believe they are the lightest sneakers our there. You can throw them in the wash, you just need to that the insoles out (those are anti-bacterial) and let then air dry. The sales woman at the shoe store said they take about 8 hours to air dry.

We love Geox. I don't get to Roosevelt Field often and I didn't even know about the store!! We will be going!!! I usually measure his feet myself and then order online. They are amazing shoes, so worth the money and nothing beats the quality!
